3D Systems' Higher Quote Was Actually Cheaper: A Buyer's Total Cost Breakdown

If you're comparing 3D Systems' 3D printers or their on-demand manufacturing services against cheaper quotes, stop looking at the unit price first. Our "cheaper" local quote ended up costing 26% more than 3D Systems' quote once I added post-processing, inspection, and shipping. That's the short answer.
